WA: You're one of those who've been to Chicago before. Can the "greenhorns" count on you?
TR: I'm often in touch with Frank and Jürgen, and we've often talked about the pipe show. I think that this prepared them a bit, and they know what to expect.

WA: As far as you can tell from your experience: Are there difficulties for an unknown pipe maker in presenting himself there?
TR: Well, the two are by far no longer unknown in the scene. They will present their wonderful pipes to an international audience. Their works are of the best quality. So where should be the problem?

It's always nice to meet friendly and like-minded people in Chicago and to exchange ideas with them. I particularly look forward to the evenings spent together with colleagues. Talking about pipe making in a relaxed atmosphere is simply great.
